Lee Ann is a professional communicator with more than 20 years experience. She started out as a journalist, working at small papers where she wrote, copy edited, did layout and wrote editorials and columns.

Public relations and marketing communications beckoned and she went to work for the American Heart Association. Non-profit experience taught her how to get a lot done for little money.

From there she’s tucked PR/Ad agency, corporate, start up and academic experience under her belt with a wide variety of full-time positions and freelance clients.

In between she’s completed technical writing projects for the energy industry, taught business writing and PR in Higher Education and even run a little resume-writing service on the side.

As a freelance writer, Lee Ann has produced magazine articles, white papers, book proposals, and is looking for a client who needs a ghost writer for a business book.

She wrote an undergraduate course in PR and Integrated Communication which is taught through the online Jones International University (www.jiu.edu).

Her education is in History, English and Corporate Communications.
